Windows XP outshines Vista in benchmarking test

A reader that goes by the handle “Sacred” submitted this story about Vista SP1, RC1 being released to testers. Apparently, according to at least one benchmark it isn’t helping Vista vs. XP performance wise:

Vista, both with and without SP1, performed notably slower than XP with SP3 in the test, taking over 80 seconds to complete the test, compared to the beta SP3-enhanced XP’s 35 seconds.

Yes, I know it’s only one test. We’ll probably see more benchmarks echoing this and a few showing the opposite…
