My Linux distro of choice has received a significant update. openSUSE Leap changes the way openSUSE does things. Once divided between an enterprise and regular version openSUSE has merged these into what they are calling a hybrid system. You see the enterprise version (SLE) was a more stable version that was slow to implement changes. The regular version was considered “bleeding edge”. That meant stuff was either not quite done or could break stuff, a permanent beta version if you will. IMHO, his had the effect of frustrating many non-Linux Geeks. openSUSE Leap aims to speed up inclusion of software that is ready for the average users but leave the “bleeding edge” stuff to a version best left to Linux Geeks called “openSUSE Tumbleweed“.
Also includes: Kernel 4.1.12, KDE Plasma 5, GNOME 3.16.2

If I weren’t an avid old arsed gamer, I might consider the Linux distro. Which actually I have tried in my past. I hated no or very little useable programs or gaming. However back in the day Linux ruled the gaming servers of yesteryear and I know cause, I ran a few of em.
But on apple products, as a side note, they don’t appeal to me in the least.
Today, I still think Windows rules the gaming world and until that changes Linux nor Apple can compete in that forum.
But like I tell my Apple and Linux friends, It all depends on what you want to do with your OS. I game so I prefer Windows…

Run it in a VM, Do your gaming in Windows and your business in Linux.

Personally, I for one would never bother with such trivial perceptions of operating systems.
Such as spying on what we do. I am positive no matter what OS, no matter what firewall, no matter what malware, no matter what anti virus, no matter what defenses you think you have, you have already have been compromised… Cheers!!!
