Why?
Today virtually every Windows or software download site has posted about a new Windows 11 Media Creation Tool program that allows you to bypass hardware/TPM checks. Yeah that’s cool. But why would anyone want to use this?
Microsoft has set the hardware requirements there for a reason. People who use this will then whine about Windows 11 not working as it should. Windows 10 doesn’t reach End of Life for 4 more years. Even if you don’t mind Windows 11’s horrendous user interface, why the hurry to use an alpha grade OS?

TPM is one thing the rest is Bullshit. My AIO HP computer with an Intel i5 7 generation processor and 12 GB of ram run perfectly fine the latest windows 11 built! Wry fast and very smooth too. I’m using an SSD drive of course
People are still in panic mode when a 5 minute read in the Q & A section at Microsoft’s own website about Win11 would have told them what you and I have known for months. Most news of win11 IS STILL all about how you will need new hardware and putting everyone in a panic…or else! To this day, very few ever mention that EOL for Win10 is another 4-5 years (at the time). Sheeeesh!
I’m running one older home-built desktop and two older laptops with the latest Win 10 iteration, and all dating back to either 2008 and 2010. They are all incompatible with Windows 11, and that’s fine by me. They all run extremely well with Windows 10. So, I’ve got a few years in which I can save up; at the appropriate time I’ll way up the benefits of running a Windows 11 machine, and buy accordingly. My old home-built PC has run Windows XP, 7, 8, 10 without any problems or need for hardware upgrades. I’ll just sit tight and let the world pass by!
