Well it says I am vulnerable to Spectre, but I suppose that’s normal till ASUS puts out a BIOS update for my Z97 board.
I understand that it may be awhile for my Haswell since they started with Gen 6 chips (Z170 MB?)
That’s sort of what I figured. I’m checking with IT to turn “off” the virus package for this one. We’re a small shop but I have to get some outside support for stuff like this. Hopefully the information for Sophos will get updated soon too.

Only problem is on Win 10 Home you can’t control the updates. I put the Update service on manual and stopped in services menu. Will this work as far as MS updates go?

Disable it. I honestly can’t tell you for sure. Don’t have home only pro.
