I updated Fiefov today to 56.0.1, I belive it changed my install from 32bit to 64bit, as now FF will install 64bit on a 64bit system by default.

Yes the classic update changed my FF 32bit to 64bit also 🙂
I tried to get this update several days ago when I first heard about it from Neowin, by the download method but it was still 56.0. I have 64bit on mine and had it open to the release notes page and it had a message that mine wasn’t current and a download link, so I did it that way. This is Win7. The internal updater didn’t work. Maybe that is on purpose to get the 32bit users to update to 64bit.. OK, I just tried it on Win 8.1 and off the release notes screen and via their button and download and I got a 32bit update so that can’t be true.
The last few updates for FF have stunk. I hope they get things right for 57 or they may be in trouble.
