My old HP Officejet Pro L7780 died a few weeks ago. I replaced it with HP Officejet Pro 8720.
Like it’s predecessor, it networks flawlessly to all my computers, my Android phones, and my openSUSE Virtual Machines.
For my Galaxy S7 I use the PrinterShare Premium app. The free version does great too.
From my openSUSE 13.2 VM I could not find my printer via HPLIP. I went to the HPLIP site and it turns out the version in the openSUSE repos did not support my device. No problem. I downloaded the new version and followed the easy instructions for the The HPLIP Automatic Installer. Done!
Linux tip – I’ve always found that setting up a network printer works best when you use the IP addy.

2 cents…I’m a Brother MFC Laser printer dude myself. (black only). Nice looking printer however and very functional nonetheless.
