Google Just Gave 2 Billion Chrome Users A Reason To Switch To Firefox
“Google is planning to restrict modern ad blocking Chrome extensions to enterprise users only, according to 9to5Google. This is despite a backlash to an announcement by Google in January proposing changes that will stop current ad blockers from working efficiently.
And the software giant is not backing down: It says the only people who can use ad blockers following the change will be Google’s enterprise users.”
You can now order Alexa to purge the voice recordings it’s made
Or, just not let it record you…
A white-collar sweatshop’: Google Assistant contractors allege wage theft
“Google does not directly employ the workers who collect or create the data required for much of its technology, be they the drivers who capture photos for Google Maps’ Street View, the content moderators training YouTube’s filters to catch prohibited material, or the scanners flipping pages to upload the contents of libraries into Google Books.
Having these two tiers of workers – highly paid full-time Googlers and often low-wage and precarious workers contracted through staffing firms – is “corrosive”, “highly problematic”, and “permissive of exploitation”, the employees said.”
To My Wife
See these beautiful hot dogs? Not one has ketchup on it.
Ketchup on hot dogs is an abomination.
Thanks for the reminder Lee!

Have you ever heard of or considered trying the Brave browser?
And all those Hot Dogs look delicious, thank you.
Eric (a.k.a. TweakHound) says
I may give it a try. I browse in FF anyway.
Ziggy says
Eric, is there anyway your lovely wife can write up the recipes for those deliciously looking hot dogs? Darn, you’ve made me mightily hungry! And, just to add, Firefox has always been my preferred browser. Tried others, but always come back to Firefox. Geese I’m hungry…

I’m afraid we must agree to disagree! Mustard, ketchup, chili and onions (maybe some relish)!
Guess I’m going to switch to FF. I’ve really been liking Vivaldi, but it’s Chrome based also.
Scott says
Makes me feel better that I use FF and have been forever.
Also, like other have said, god damn those hot dogs look good. While I always put ketchup on a normal dog, I can see why you wouldn’t need to with any of those.
Thanks again for all your work here, Eric.

Maybe I’m crazy, but it seems like adblockers have always done a better job at keeping malware off my computer than Windows Defender or other anti-virus products. As soon as I started using Admuncher 15 or so years ago, I hardly ever ended up with any kind of malware.
Dantv says
I avoid Google like the plague. No Chrome. No Android. No search, nothing. Google is just an advertising and spyware company masquerading as a tech company.
Ziggy says
Thanks for the link, Eric. That’s what I call eating!

Clint once said “Nobody puts ketchup on a hot dog”

Thanks for the reminder. Video posted!

Hell, I guess I’ll have to acquiesce…can’t argue with Clint!
