Rockin’ Robert Seger
I just saw that Bob Seger is doing a final tour. I’m gonna definitely try and see this. I would love to see his absolute final show in Detroit… err.. Pine Knob, uh… DTE Energy Music Theatre but due to family circumstances I will probably have to settle on Virginia Beach.
Growing up, Bob Seger was god-like in Michigan. He has always sold out multiple dates in the Detroit area. He just added a FORTH day for his DTE… Pine Knob concert finale. His music still takes me back to Michigan. There is nothing quite as haunting as a bus full of tired football players singing Turn The Page on the way home from Friday night’s game.
Artist: Bob Seger, Song: Turn The Page (live), Album: Live Bullet Etc: Recorded September 4-5, 1975 at Cobo Hall in Detroit, Michigan

I hope you can go to the concert. I really enjoy his music a lot. My favorite is Hollywood nights. What song is your favorite Eric? I see you like turn the page, do you have other favorites?
Eric (a.k.a. TweakHound) says
Oh man…
Night Moves was the fits album of his I had (cassette). Me and a buddy wore the grooves off of Against the Wind. So anything off of those two.
I really like Makin’ Thunderbirds. His live albums are some of the few live albums I like.
On the Live Bullet LP the combo of Travelin’ Man and Beautiful Loser is awesome but side 3 of the LP was Ramblin’ Gamblin’ Man / Heavy Music / Katmandu, that is 17 minutes of some of the best old school Rock and Roll you’ll ever hear.

I lived in Saginaw & Houghton Lake but never Detroit. Many trips down there for concerts and sporting events though. I also had my stereo hooked to a old TV antenna so I could listen to 101 The Rif (Baby!) out of Detroit. One of the best AOR stations ever.
I am big Detroit Tigers fan but never liked the other Detroit sports teams.
You got lucky with that lady. Keep on rockin’!

Ramblin Gamblin Man was one of the first albums I ever owned – this was when they were called the “Bob Seger System”. Fell in love with that album. Night Moves really brings back memories.

Night moves man that’s song is so good, it’s in the same category as hotel california, just pure awesome. Thank you for the link to your music collection, you sure have great taste in music, the only suggestion I would say is 34gb is to small lol jk ?
