Taking You Into The Weekend
I’ve always loved the song Sound of Silence from Simon & Garfunkel. I remember it being played during “last skate” way back when.
A metal band named Disturbed had covered the song a few months back and played it Thursday on the Conan show. I’m no fan of Conan and while I’ve nothing negative to say about Disturbed, their brand of metal isn’t my thing.
Anyway, several sites mentioned the Thursday event so I went and listened to it. It set me back in my chair.
It is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard…
“The Sound Of Silence”
(originally by Simon & Garfunkel)
Hello darkness, my old friend
I’ve come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains within the sound of silence
In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone
‘Neath the halo of a street lamp
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed
By the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence
And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs
That voices never share
And no one dare
Disturb the sound of silence
“Fools,” said I, “you do not know
Silence like a cancer grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you.”
But my words like silent raindrops fell
And echoed in the wells of silence
And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon God they made
And the sign flashed out its warning
And the words that it was forming
And the sign said,
“The words of the prophets
Are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls.”
And whispered in the sound of silence

Why Using a Registry Cleaner Won’t Speed Up Your PC or Fix Crashes
http://www.howtogeek.com/171633/why-using-a-registry-cleaner-wont-speed-up-your-pc-or-fix-crashes/
“We’ve said it again and again: Registry cleaners don’t speed up your PC. At best, they’re a waste of time — and often money. At worst, they can cause problems by removing registry entries they shouldn’t.
We recently covered why PC cleaning software was a scam, noting that a big part of the cleaning process — the registry cleaning — wouldn’t help speed up your PC. We’ll now look at what that is.”

Please see Bad Tweaks.
Nobody mentioned the registry. I’ve been railing against “cleaning” it since before that site existed.
See the Tweak Guides for how I use cleaners.

Thanks man! I would like to say I’m excited about this but not sure I will be able to afford the show.
