Weirdness with my Intel SSD:
Two weeks ago, after installing some older MS HTML editors (Microsoft SharePoint Designer and Microsoft Visual Web Developer Express), my Intel 530 240GB drive just died. Gigabyte bios would not recognize it as internal or external drive. It took me 2 days to revive it using numerous methods and tools. Finally, I ran Intell SSD Toolbox and HD Tune Pro that certified it as 100% OK.
The same SSD got corrupted last year in my 8 year old PC running Win 7. I really don’t know what to say except for doing frequent backups.
