This weekends snow storm is in it’s second day here.
As an ex-Michigander it is something I am used to. Besides, I’ve got a 4×4, a generator, a fireplace, and Jack Daniels. Folks here in Virginia often get made fun of for their reaction to even the mention of snow. It can be amusing but you have to remember that this state isn’t set up for snow. There isn’t that much snow removal equipment and frankly most of the drivers could use a lesson from some of their northern counterparts.
A note to the national news media. I realize that most of you are stationed in New York city. I realize that most of you think that New York is the center of the universe. It is not. It annoys the hell out of the 300+ million people in the U.S. that aren’t NYC dwellers when you act like it is.
On a side note, when the heck did they start naming winter storms?
