Reader Tim let me know that KB3035583, the update that brought us GWX is back, BUT, this time it is actually optional (at least on all my rigs). Before it was installing automatically.
Is this a change of heart from Microsoft?
So be warned, hide it to save yourself the agony of GWX!

I keep following the Ghacks suggestions but it keeps showing up as a critical update
I hid the update yesterday, it just now shows up, again, as a critical update.
