The trend lately has been for companies to adopt a flat design look. Windows 8, Apple(iOS 7), Google are but a few of the guilty.
They all seem to be jumping on this trend like a bunch of self-conscious teens.
I really frackin’ hate it.
This isn’t high school and the world isn’t flat. Stop it.
