This will show you how to log on automatically in Windows Vista.
*Warning* – This can be a security risk. I recommend you only use this for computers that are in and stay in your home (i.e. not on a laptop).
Press the Windows + R keys. In the resulting window type netplwiz .

Highlight the user you wish to log on with and uncheck the box that says “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer“. Then click Apply.

Now enter the password twice and click OK.

The changes will take effect on reboot.
