The link above is for one standard single user license.
After using another anti-virus product for years I was sampling other brands because I was unhappy with what I was using (even tweaked it was a resource hog and it was expensive). After trying all the ones you've probably heard of I tried AVG. Initially I was impressed and after using it for several months I made the switch. Why? It's effective, uses very little system resources, is easy to configure, has excellent tech support, and is VERY cost effective. A single user license is only $38.95 (U.S.) for 2 years (not one year like all the rest)! Tech support for AVG is excellent. I recently had an issue and used the "email tech support" option in the control panel, it took only 2 hours and 2 min. to get a reply, with the right answer (others have reported times under 1/2 an hour)! Try that with another anti-virus company! I like AVG so much I run it on all my computers and my server. Below is a screen shot of the AVG Control Panel.
AVG also offers an edition called a SoHo Edition, for users who need multiple licenses in a small home or office network. SoHo Edition works on Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP. This is the same as the standard edition but you get a "volume discount" and it uses a single license key for all computers (ain't that nice!).
You'll notice the picture below says "Network Edition" the Network Edition is a version that allows for use with Windows 2000/2003 Servers as well as Windows workstation OS's. It also comes with a management program that allows you to administer AVG running on the other computers. In my case I bought a 5 user license.
All prices are correct as of 12/29/2006 and are subject to change.
